Chest of drawers with top and front marquetry, in a continuous design, practically all made of Freijó wood, that appears massively in the structure and in front of the drawers.
The marquetry in this piece represents the flowering of the Cherry Tree, an original tree from Asia, forming a continuous drawing, which runs through two faces of the furniture – the front and the top.
Due to the complexity of the drawings, three different marquetry techniques were required.
The frontal bulb of the piece leaves it lighter and more modern, besides showing the design of the shafts of the wood.
The precise dovetail drawers’ grooves translate durability and quality.

The design of its marquetry represents the leaves of the Ginkgo Biloba tree. A rare Asian tree (ginkyo: 銀杏), considered almost a living fossil, being one of the oldest species of plants (270 million years old) that still exist, extremely beautiful and with a history of inspiring resilience.
Ginkgo Biloba is a symbol of peace and longevity.
It survived the atomic explosions in Japan and its resistance goes much further. It supported glacial periods, pests and adverse environmental conditions that eliminated other species. Her fame caused her to be studied and, consequently, her leaves had excellent pharmacological use.

The marquetry is made with Freijó, Sucupira and Carvalho ebanizado Italian woods, with inlays of golden metal fillets. The screen is composed by 3 panels interconnected by hinges integrally in wood.
